Alan Saunders founded ABC Radio National's 'The Food Program', was co-presenter of 'Screen', a weekly program about film and television, and since 1997 has been presenter of 'The Comfort Zone'. He has written about food and other topics for various publications. In 1992 he was awarded the Pascall Prize for critical writing and broadcasting.
