| Stuart Brown grew up in Fife with good cooks and bakers in the family. He has worked as an English teacher, BBC radio journalist in Shetland, Orkney, and Glasgow and as a freelance journalist in Edinburgh. He now works for a charity - whose African office is in Gabarone, Botswana - helping farmers keep their livestock healthy and productive. Stuart's work takes him often to Africa where he has eaten Mopane Worms, mentioned in the Cookbook, and sheep innards whilst living in Morocco. Author royalties of this book will go to good causes in Botswana. |
