Karl Friedrich von Rumohr (Dresden 1785 - Dresden 1843) was a German writer and patron of the arts and the author of a number of travel books, novels and a cookbook.
A contemporary of Brillat-Savarin, von Rumhor was widely travelled and a highly regarded art historian.
