| Born and educated in Canada, Leslie Forbes first studied English, Philosophy and Political Sciences but in 1973 turned to graphic design, graduating from Vancouver School of Art in 1977 as best design student. She then came to England to study at the Royal College of Art, came second in the annual VOGUE talent contest and worked as a designer and illustrator until 1980. A six-week trip to Tuscany started what is proving a long love-affair with the region. Since 1991 she has worked as a designer and illustrator at BBC Television |
