Janelle Bloom is Australia's leading microwave cook. She started her career at an exclusive cookery school and later worked at Sharp for nearly ten years developing and testing microwave ovens, writing recipes for the microwave and producing cooking videos.

She has contributed recipes to the Family Circle Cookbook and has published several bestselling cookbooks. Janelle regularly contributes recipes to many magazines and is involved in cookery classes at the Sydney Seafood School. She considers her best work to be that done for the kids at Ronald McDonald House, where she is a regular volunteer.

For a number of years she has been a regular presenter of microwave recipes on Channel 9's What's Cooking?.
