Illustrated with numerous monochrome and richly coloured chromolithographic illustrations, and a colour map of the Cognac region. Board edges faintly sunned, very faint soiling; faint foxing to pps16-17; pencilled date "19-10-38" to front board verso, a near fine copy
¶ The first sixteen pages tell the history of Courvoisier and its production, page 17 has six cocktails using Courvoisier, pages 18-23 some 30 recipes using Courvoisier Cognac including lobster, fillet steak, omelettes and fruits, and the remainder chromolithographic illustrations of the range of Cognacs and brandies produced.
Near Fine. Scarce. An excellent example of inter-war luxury spirits marketing.
