Book Launch: Around the Table

Tuesday, Jul 26, 2022

Julia Busuttil Nishimura is a local Melbourne-based cook and author who often shops here at the Queen Victoria Market.

Around the Table is her latest, and largest, book following on from her highly popular Ostro (2019) and A Year of Simple Food (2020).

Her recipes draw on her Maltese heritage, her time spent in Italy and the Japanese food traditions of her husband, Nori.

Elegantly simple, timelessly casual, and just plain delicious, Julia's cooking calls for simple ingredients and seasonal produce and celebrates the joys of coming together at the table. You can't help but feel the love in her writing.

Delightfully easy to cook from, but rich in ideas, we recommend all of her books. We are enjoying cooking from her latest book immensely - and we think you will too.

Please join us on Tuesday 9th August for delicious tastes from her latest book and a wonderfully warm and intimate chat with one of the loveliest cookbook authors we know - Julia 'Ostro' Busuttil Nishimura.

Tickets are limited.
